This meter-recorder was expressly designed for our downriggers but it soon proved to be a very useful instrument for every kind of fishing. It is exetremely precise and endowed with a special lever to put it back to zero. Owing to the clear numeration, the great solidity and the easy use and assembly it can be considered an essential instrument on every fishing boat. It can be used as a plummet on small when set on a trolling rod it will show you the exact distance between the bait and the boat and, in case, now far the prey is, as for bottom fishing or soundig fishing-lines, this instrument will show you exactly the meters of fishing-line necessary to reach the sounding and, when hauling, how many meters are left before the fish comes to the surface. Last but not least it is an excellent meter recorder for downriggers. It can be set on rods, and booms from a maximum diameter of 25 mm to a minimum diameter of 12 mm by means of special reducers supplied together with the instrument.

Counter: the counter is useful in several applications. Every time you press the upper button the counter moves one notch (unit). This can be used to used memorize the catch of one day amongst different anglers. It can also be used to count distances on the line or the anchor line, or the length of line dropped. Another application would be to measure and memorize the number of hooks on a long line that have been dropped or retrieved.
