Pianist - Composer.Andrea Mascitti began his musical
studies at a very young age (he already played the piano
when he was four years old). He studied at the Musical
Academy Pescarese under Stefania Santangelo,
a student of the M° Bruno Mezzena. He received his final
diploma as a pianist at the State Academy of Music Luisa
DAnnunzio in Pescara, with the highest marks,
having as his teacher M° Gennaro Pesce. He began as
singer in 1980 in the 23rd edition of Zecchino dOro
in Bologna with the song Un milione danni fa,
and won the first prize. He has won numerous song
contests. In 1984 and 1985 he took part in the 13th and
14th editions of LAmbrogino dOro
il Milan, transmitted by the Italian TV, programme RAI 2.
This same year he recorded two records Un vero
amico and Figli siamo noi with the
Fremus Produzioni Discografiche in Milan. In 1984 he was
present in various TV programmes including Tandem
presented by Fabrizio Frizzi. In 1987 he won the
1st National Contest for Pianists In Francavilla
(Chieti). From 1995 he is listed as a song and music
writer of the S.I.A.E. (Publischers Union). He has
publisched Blue Paint (Ed.Primo Tema) for
pianoforte. Part of the jury for the 1st Song Contest in
Nocciano. Together with A.Trabucco, professor of History
of Art at the University Gabriele DAnnunzio
in Chieti, he composed La lira di Bacco from
the madrigal Apollo che insegna a sonar la lira a
Bacco taken from the Galeria of
Giambattista Marino. He studies musical analysis with M°
M.Della Chiesa DIsasca at the Pescara Musical
Academy. He studies applied musicality with M°G. Acciai,
vocal techiques e interpretive style with M° S. Woodbury
and Baroc Vocal Roberto Goitre under M°
Giovanni Acciai teacher of the story of music at the
Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan. He
teaches Musical Theory for the preparation of the Royal
Academy of Dancing Music Exam in London. Mascittis
compositions are published in Antologia
(Ed.Pagano,Napoli). His biography and list of works can
