Hello! Welcome to the English version of this site, that I have built for my favourite singer, who is Franco Fasano. Who's he? He is a great author and a great singer. Franco Fasano is not only an amazing voice: he is a fantastic composer: he has written lots of famous songs for popular singers (Anna Oxa, Fausto Leali, Mina, Drupi...) and he is an eminent artist himself. He has interpreted, with excellent results, several songs that are some of the most beautiful melodies of the last years, in my opinion. The first successes of Franco Fasano date back to 1989, when he was third at the Festival of Sanremo (Young category) with the beautiful "E quel giorno non mi perderai più" ("And that day you will lose me no more"): in the same year a song he wrote ("Ti lascerò": I will leave you) won the Champions category (the singers were Leali and A.Oxa). The following year Franco Fasano was second (Young category) with the song "Vieni a stare qui" (Come and stay here), a pearl among his great creations. He has published 3 albums so far: "Un cielo che non sai" (A sky you don't know), 1990; "Tempo al tempo" (Time to time), 1992, "Qualunque sia la verità" (Whatever the truth is), 1994. In the last years, he has dedicated himself to childrens' music, becoming author of several songs loved by all kids.
