“Ialsax Quartet”, founded by Gianni Oddi in 1991, offers the musical project
~ Jazz, Classical and Others ~. A musical itinerary through which the quartet
accompanies the listener from polyrhythms of jazz, severe shapes of classical
music up to the colours of modern music. “Ialsax Quartet” recorded for “Pentaphon”
the CD “Contrasti”. The Quartet participated to a great number of concerts and to
RAI (Italian National Radiotelevision) and Radio Vaticana radio programs. Amongst
the most important concerts to be remembered the “X Saxophone World Festival”
(Pesaro 1992), “Music Meetings 1993” (Aquileia and Grado), the Concertgebouw and 
the Italian Institute of Culture (Amsterdam 1994), “2000 Music Project” (Rome 1996),
the festival “Palcoscenico Roma” (Rome 1997), the “European Festival of Jazz”  (Syria
1998), the “Festival of Jazz” (Lebanon 1998), the Cairo Opera Theatre and the Italian 
Institute of Culture (Egypt 1998), Discoteca di Stato (Rome 1998), the African Tour
through the capitals of Ethiopia, Kenya, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, SouthAfrica and 
Angola (Spring 1999).
