Stereolab Music Site - Songs

:Introduction

First of all, let me tell you what you will find here: I've never seen any Stereolab tablature/score or other and I think that it doesn't even exist, but you won't find here any score or tablature for all the instruments played in the groop's song not because I'm not able to do so but because I have no patience and time! This site is a sort of "Stereolab's Canzoniere" (I wrote it in Italian... it's time you learn a new language!) which is a book with lyrics and chords written above the words. I decided to put up this site, because during the lonely autumn (and the lonely rest of the year) it's so beautiful playing the guitar trying to imitate Laetitia's vocals (so hard for a man!) at the end of a hard day. Bands that want to play Stereolab covers could take this site as a starting point to learn the chord for guitar (and so the bass) and then could try to find the note for keyboards (however if you have any problem just write me!). Maybe you're wondering if I am one of those guys that when they go to a concert they spent all the time trying to catch the guitarist's chords and other tips to be able to play that fabulous song... well, I'm not! When I go to a gig I like to watch all the band playing... what I want to say is that I'm not sure if the groop plays the songs like I play them, the guitar parts may not be what Tim really plays... I tried to render all the harmony from the various instrument rather than the exact guitar part. I hope you appreciate my little work!
