The Torre del Lago Puccini Jazz Festival dedicated to the lamented 
italo-american saxophonist DEAN BENEDETTI (1922-1957) get this 2004 
summer to his fifth edition. In fact, Dean Benedetti's origins were here, 
in this little town of Tuscany. The significance of his historical contribution 
to the achievement of the bebop jazz music, has recently been studied 
and revalued by the Jazz Insitute of Chicago.

Viareggio" (Viareggio Municipality Culture Councillor)
and the "1° Circoscrizione di Torre del Lago Puccini" (1° District 
of Torre del Lago Puccini)

Artistic direction by trumpeter Andrea Tofanelli

With the collaboration of the "Associazione Carnevale" of Torre del Lago Puccini

The concerts will take place on the Belvedere lake square just in front of the Puccini's house.
